Darth Vader Sings "Mna Mna"!

The endcap made the video. Season One Show One of the Muppet Show DVD collection is where you can find the original off-line. Not only am I wondering what we are calling this decade...I've settled for 'Bob'.... but we still haven't gotten our flying cars yet. I was promised by every sci-fi show growing up that the 21st century would have flying cars ding dang it.

OhmyGod, Awesome. That had me laughing out loud at the office. That song is so addictive anyway but with Vader...priceless.

Also Dave, I say "boo" too. Its like the music charts for the last 10 years. Every year had some significant moment until '99, when they just started puting $$$.

PS. - Flaco's face is hilarious in the last pannel. "FUMP".

On an inconsequential note, when I was watching the original muppet sketch, the recording was from Swedish television. Though you'd want to know, being such an umlaut/Ikea fan, Dave.

Should I mention that "Mna Mna" was originally from the soundtrack to an 60s Italian *cough cough* "adult edutainment" (winkwink nudgenudge) film? And that the Muppets version is the second (known) cover of the track?

Just one of those strange facts that stick in my head. (But no, sorry, don't know the name of the film... or who did the other cover... and if I'm wrong, blame the Australian music quiz show "Spicks and Specks"!)
