I don't know why this occurred to me, but there you go. Does Sheldon have a last name? And does he share the same last name as Gramps? For that matter, what is Gramps' real name? Or did his parents, in their infinite wisdom, recognize his fate and just name him "Gramps"?

These are the things that keep me up at night.
