Nothing says that Arthur can not simply learn the language again afterwards. If he can at least read and comprehend the English language, he can self-teach himself Spanish in his spare time, which he appears to have a lot of.

Why is this comic strip in spanish in the first place? Has Dave handed the writing over to illegal immigrants because they work cheaper? (dang writer's strike.) Has Mexico finally overthrown Southern California. (Pancho Via rides again.)
