Friday's Guest Artist: Brad Guigar of "Evil, Inc."

You're no doubt already familiar with my friend, Halfpixel stablemate, "Webcomics Weekly" co-host, and "How To Make Webcomics" co-author... Mister Brad Guigar. He is, without doubt, one of the kindest people in cartooning, with draughtsman skills and a creative output that put me to shame. The guy does three strips, for heaven's sake! ...The brilliant, daily strip,
Evil, Inc., the relationship-advice strip
Courting Disaster, and the Eisner-nominated, Philadelphia slice-of-life strip,
Phables.
In person, Brad is one of the most fun people I've ever attended a convention with...and so can't wait to join him in three weeks at Seattle's EMERALD CITY COMIC-CON (...if you're in the area, you're comin'! This show is going to be awesome, trust me.) He's just a great guy, all around — and if you're no familiar with the man or his work, you should treat yourself to both. :)
And, seeing as how Brad is a dear friend, please don't forget: If you enjoyed today's strip, drop Brad a note to thank him for today's trip down awesomeness lane!

Why does it not surprise me Brad Guigar understands Flaco-speak? Is there anything this man can't do? I swear, he's like a Philladelphia-based Chuck Norris... :D

In Response to jesaar (#42396):
Oh, awkward! :o Delete, undo, reformat! Something! That's Dave! And he ain't from Philadelphia!
*feels shame*
Please feel free to ignore my previous post... And this one... And my next 50 or so. Why is there no "undo" button on this thing... Or a "reboot the internet" would be even better... :o

Wow, I totally missed the fact that Dave was the random guy in the comic until I read the first comments. Geez. I feel like Gramps over here!
On that note, how wicked cool is it that Dave FINALLY gets to interact with his characters!?! Yay for guest strips!

I caught on right away. My first thought was, "It's about @#$% time someone dragged Dave into the strip." :)

I hope you don't keep it that close to your window during the hot summer.

It's all wrong though. The duck should be sitting on his head. Not standing on the trash can.
Although this does bring up a good point about fame and recognizability in public. Although I like your comic strip and all, I doubt I could pick you out of a police lineup with several other well known cartoonists. You look vaguely hispanic to me.
Also, before everybody came in here yelling "It's Dave, It's Dave." I thought "Who is this new guy in the comic strip?" I actually thought that what had happened is that this was a flashback to when Sheldon was born and that you were his father. Well you are technically, but I mean his real father that disappeared mysteriously years ago when fighting revolutionaries in the mountains of Virgina.
