I agree. It just got weird.
One thing on the writing though. The word "Hunh" threw me a bit. I had to figure out what that word was trying to express. Once I did, it made sense and the timing of the strip came together as well. I guess I'm used to seeing it written as "Huh" or "Hmm."

I've never seen ringlets like that on Barbie before! She must have been borrowing from Lady Lovely Locks' extensions. For those of you who have never heard of Lady Lovely Locks, believe me, she does exist. Her outfits were quite sparkly and pink.
