I love this story line. Today's strip reminds me of the disco song in the '70s called "A Fifth of Beethoven". I actually heard that song last year, a good 20 years past its expiration date.

If Beethoven is anything like Amadeus, I'd go see it in the theatres, claim I didn't, then rent it for a party movie, then swear someone else picked it, then secretly buy a copy and keep it in my underwear drawer.
Seriously though, I do NOT own a copy of Amadeus--I never even SAW that movie.
Please tell me I wasn't the only one to read that as "Beethoven's Filth".
Which is remarkably apropos, considering that ol' Luddie was a curmudgeonly bastard who didn't care much for personal hygiene in his later years.
