Hey, what happened to the Romanian? Or is that the guy who won silver, and we just couldn't see his goatee before because of the helmet?
That was an awesome storyline, Dave )
But now that Flaco's won gold, I think we're about ready to wrap up this storyline. I hope you enjoyed it -- it's been one of the longer storylines we've had in a while
"Rarely venture"... yeah, right, more like "go that way more often than the annual daily traffic count on the I-5."
Either way, it's neat to see our "Roscoe Coltrane" won the Gold. Hope the IOC doesn't take it from him for using a fake name, though...
Oh geeeeeeeeze... hahaha... a pun yes, but a dang funny one! It made me LOL out loud, as Monk would say. =P
Brad will be so proud....and possibly jealous.
Lol, the 27 strip was hilarious, too ). I just watched a report yesterday where they said it's a bit weird cause all the construction sites are hidden behind huge screens so it's impossible to see anything at all. I guess they're building cardboard stadiums.
I thought the pun was perfect for the storyline :)
The Olympic Stadium site was live on BBC Breakfast News yesterday morning. If you stand next to the boards you can't see anything so move up the hill. Mind you even then you won't see much! They're a couple of months ahead of schedule but it'll be ages until theres actually anything to see (apart from the cranes). But hey, we've got nearly 4 years to get it done. No hurry ;)
Everything is going to be a lot smaller in scale than Beijing, every event in the main village will only be about 15 minutes away from each other for one thing.
