For me it would be "The Call of the Wild" and "Children of the Frost".

Today, I was reading about economic trade between the U.S. and Canada, and in my mind, I started to think of the two as Narnia and it's northern, friendly neighbor, Archenland.
Good job, brain. Good job.

Just one hitch--our country bears no resemblance to Narnia (too much pollution for the dryads), and someone would likely shoot Aslan on sight. His having a Turkish name and all--could be a terrorist lion!
Ah, but Narnia is to the North of Archenland.
I like the poetry of the idea though. See behind the veil to another world... or do we need a wardrobe to walk through to just revel in imagination?
Good job Dave's brain, good job! >:^)
My map of Narnia never leaves my side. When Aslan calls, I will be ready.
I was going to come on and comment that it was amazing that you remembered that particular detail -- I absolutely loved the books and reread them only a couple of years ago, but wouldn't have remembered that -- but then I saw the comments.
I have been out geeked!
