I love this picture.
I really dig the stark contrast between the pine trees and the rock.
Well done, Dave.

It's the final page from "Pugs: God's Little Weirdos", and the original art is now available for someone with an undying love for all things "pug".
It's drawn with archival, lightfast inks on acid-free Bristol Vellum cardstock...and just like a pug, this original is guaranteed to make you feel like life is pretty awesome. It features Sheldon and Oso in their big "reunion" shot, after Oso had been lost for days going on his accidental adventures.
Here's a close-up shot of the two:

I'm starting the bid at one penny, because I like to let folks decide what it's worth. So head on over and throw your hat in the ring!

Holy crap! People think its worth $200!?!?!?
Well, well done to Dave. But wow. No offence but I wouldn't pay that for an original Disney artwork from the good old days (when it drew its movies)
Awwwww just love the picture and I really want to get the book too, but being disabled and fixed income I just can't but I do enjoy the pictures that you do share with us!! I'm a pug lover from way back and I am owned by a bugg(boston/pug). Thanks so much again for sharing with us!!!
No disrepect intended, John (sorry, calling you JohnLynch just feels weird), but $200 for an original piece of art by a popular artist (whose popularity seems to be growing) really isn't a bad price.
It's fine if you wouldn't want to pay that, but your comments are a little insulting both to Dave and the people who bid on it. Although you're right - you wouldn't spend $200 for a hand-painted Disney cel. If you were looking at the more classic movies, you'd probably be paying in the thousands.
heh. well said
also: dave are you still working on sorting out the captions or did i miss something?
