Congrats to "Empty_W" (his/her forum name) for their winning caption!
Reading through the 1,000+ entries was incredibly fun -- but was filled with enough great ones that it made it very difficult to pick just one overall.
I hope everyone enjoyed reading the captions as much as I did. Based on the huge number of entries and votes cast, I think it's something we'll try again someday.
A huge thank you to everyone who submitted -- you all deserve the official "Sheldon High-Five For Extraordinary Valor Among Exceptional Awesomeness".

Bummer! I didn't win. Oh, well. Congrats to the winner, although it was my least fave of the top 4 that pulled away. It is funny, and it's a great joke, but who says "wino" anymore?
My entry was "Don't think rhi-NO, think rhi-YES!" I also liked the one I was right behind in the voting, about the lovely telephone voice.
Dave, I will collect my Sheldon High-Five for Extraordinary Valor among Exceptional Awesomeness at the next con I see you, or if I see you randomly in the LA area. One question, though - can you make the blank cartoon available for me to print? I'd like to bring it to a con and get you to write in my caption and sign it. Would that be possible?

I come late to this caption party, they were all pretty funny!!
It could have also been done to read "When you said Ned from accounting was a Rhino... I thought you meant a Republican In Name Only!"
... then again, this may be why I am an observer,not a participant!!

Thanks guys, I'm excited, it was a good competition with a lot of funny people. Thanks to everyone who voted for me, and no the "W" does not stand for wino, I have a home. It's actually my intials, not that that matters.
