Dave almost got a Confirmed Keyboard Kill (CKK) with this strip. Good thing I drink my coffee black, no sugar.

Dave you get more expression out of the least ink of any strip I can think of. True, Karl Kerschl over at T.A.C.C. is a wonderful draftsman and does wonders with his anthropomorphic expressions, but you get as much expression and do it with far fewer lines of ink. The look of haughty disdain on Flaco and the stunned look of Shedon are classic. You do more with Flaco's face, for a line-drawn lizard, than anyone I can think of does with any single one of their characters.

Less is definitely more, and of this principle, you are a master.

I couldn't resist. I twittered the link over to Hammer right after I read it. I hope he takes a look!

It's the expression on Flaco's face that totally sells it for me.
