Sunday's Strip

Saturday, February 14, 2009 - 11:46 PM

Sunday's strip won't be posting until later Sunday night, I'm sorry to report. The finished strip is sitting on a computer in California rather than its comfy server in New York...a situation I can't correct until I return from Katsucon. My apologies for being temporarily lame. :)

EDITED TO ADD: The Sunday strip is up! Fwaaa-zam!

It's a double-tall strip, only because I wanted to try for that mid-century, socialist-realist style for the final panel...just because I thought it'd add to the ridiculousness. (As if the blimp, hang-glider, and biplane weren't enough ridiculousness.)

Could you PLEASE turn the final panel of the Sunday comic into a desktop background? It could turn into great free advertising...

Sorry, but Scotland is part of Europe - whether they like it or not.

And declining birthrates are a *good* thing.

In case you hadn't noticed we're going on 7000 million people. We've been out of room for thirty years! Start dying! God ... bless America!

Still funny, though.

I'm a born and bred Aberdonian and I loved Sunday's strip! I've already sent it to a representative of my local council for consideration. I expect a motion of approval in Holyrood any day now. Jocks wahey!

And by the by - for the most part Scotland can't stand Europe. Bunch o' la-de-da @%$*!&. They'll be the first against the wall. Oh yes.

Nice enlightened attitude there ;) Luckily that hasn't been my experience when it comes to dealing with Scottish folks.

In Response to the_Siliconopolitan (#46888):

Scotland might be part of Europe now, but 23 years from now, Europe will apparently become part of Scotland.

And why not, Scotland was at the top of Science and Tech innovation back in the early industrial age (so much so that it formed a stereotype for mechanical engineering knowhow that eventually lead to Scotty on the NCC-1701)... they're due to rise again.

Changes we can expect when the Scottish finally invade:

1. Kilts will be the required clothing for all citizens.
2. Bagpipe lessons will replace gym class in all schools.

I already made the Last panel as my desktop :)
