Thank you for sharing! I normally don't expect you to post anything else the Sheldon related stuff, but this was a thousand times worth it.

nothing like a little Les Misérables and Simon Cowell wiping that smug-a$$ scowl off his face to make the world a little brighter ;)
hi, thanks for watching & posting. As I told you I was so stunned by her voice I was almost in tears by the end. And the expressions on the faces of the judges were almost worth watching just by themselves. Ray.
I saw this on the news the other day. Simon looks totally in love! He was probably thinking "And on Tuesday I have to go back to the U.S to listen to kids who aren't as good as she is..."
Hard to believe she's 47....
A friend shared this with me a few days ago...I don't usually like these kinds of "talent" shows but it was awesome and so I shared it with some other people too. Thanks for continuing the sharing Dave, its definitely something everyone should take a look at.
What a story! 47, unemployed, dowdy looking and a dream of being a singer. Anyone who has had a dream through adversity will take inspiration from her.
Amazing contrast between looks and performance!
Here's hoping she can fulfill her dream.
As I was leaving work today, a couple of women in my office were talking about Susan Boyle, to which I resonded "Who?" (Apparently she was on the Today Show this morning.) They told me to go look it up on YouTube. Watch the full version. If it doesn't bring a bit of a tear to your eye, you have no soul.
Seriously, watch the full version:

(and excuse my HTML ineptitude)
I'm moving to Blairgowrie.
I am unashamed to admit that I asked to see Les Misérables at The Fox in Atlanta for my 23rd birthday. This is one of my favorite musicals, and one of my favorite parts which is just beaten out by Javert's "Stars" and Cosette's "Castle on a Cloud".
I'm glad I finally watched that-- I used to listen to the Les Mis soundtrack all the time when I was a kid so I know that song really well, and what a performance.
Lol, Simon Cowell must have been totally unfamiliar with the warm and fuzzy feeling he was obviously experiencing at that point. He must have thought he was coming down with something.
Are you really moving to Blairgowrie? This one? In Scotland? That would be too cool!
As for Les Mis, haven't seen it because I didn't like the book when I tried to read it but,if Susan Boyle was performing, I could be persuaded.
Ray.
