Time Magazine's Twitter stream has announced that "Squeeeeee" is the sound that best approximates the "shrill scream" of a tween. Now, I have always thought of Flaco as a quite mature and level headed individual. I could not tolerate to have Flaco-ese? ... Flac-ish? ... Flaco-lian? ... become associated with the high pitched squeals of semi-mature humans! Time needs to be educated as to what a nuanced language Flaco practices. We have all seen the wide range of emotions that a simple "squee" can express. We cannot stand for this cultural appropriation without representation! Time must acknowledge the Flacos of the world and let their squees be heard!!
