Flaco in 3-D

Monday, September 28, 2009 - 02:30 AM

Sheldonista Jeremy P. sent in some fantastic pics of a Flaco sculpt he made. Jeremy, as you remember, created a rad 3-D Arthur a few months back. He really topped himself with this Flaco sculpt...even going so far as adding Flaco's Olympic medal on the base! Check it out:

Jeremy: You are awesome. Thank you for these pics!

Love how he's jumping off the medal in mid-squee!
Makes me think a line of miniature sculptures (maybe like the lines of Homestar figurines the Bros. Chaps have)--squeeful Flaco, Arthur in the pond, Sir Biggles Chiggles on his knightly steed, etc--would be fun products. Any likelihood?

Flaco looks awesome, good job Jeremy!

This weekend my husband was watching football and the Baltimore Ravens were playing. I kept wondering if their quarterback Joe Flaco said "Squeeeeee" every time he threw the football...

Waahaha... The little Flaco is really cute. I like it. I think it will definitely attract people's attention, especially girls.

Thanks for the kind words guys! And thank you Dave for posting the pics! It was alot of fun to make.

In answer to someones question, it is made out of Super Sculpey, a common type of modeling clay, with a wire armature underneath and a walnut base.

Super Sculpey? That's awesome! I have many fond memories of playing with Sculpey at grandma's house, back in the day. Needless to say, my lumpy Sculpey puppies paled in comparison :)
