Let's Name the Saturday Sci-Fi Strip, Shall We?

After a lot of deliberation, I believe I've settled on the final name and logo for the Saturday sci-fi strip: DRIVE.

As will become clear as the story progresses, it's a particularly apt name, as the strip will be about the pinch drive, who drives it, and what drives them to drive it. You'll see what I mean as time goes on. :)
Anyway, I'm really satisfied with the name, and with the minimalist/clean logo, so I hope you like it!

I love the logo. Are you still going to spin it to it's own website?

So a comic strip done completely in blue gets a red logo?
Well, there's contrast if nothing else.
The name suggests more automotive than space, but the subtitle should help that, I hope.

Works for me - clean logo, solid name. I especially like the dot of the i zipping along there. The red? Maybe not so much. But no biggie. In the whole minute and a half I spent thinking up a name for it, the best I could come up with was "Empire Blues", which probably is already used in a hundred different venues. Loving this strip, I hope it sticks around for a long time. Love the blue also - especially after you began using a darker blue for the "inking".

The Logo is amazing, however, If I am honest, I'm not sure I like the idea of the Bight red logo and the pastel blueish kind of images of the strips, it might be a little Jarring.

The red is okay, it is the contrast between the red and the VERY stark white lettering and border/background which is the problem. That's what bothers the older eyes. If you scroll up/down the page until the word "drive" is covered or below the visible screen but the red above it is still showing on your screen, you'll see the red isn't so bad. It is the stark contrast between the red and the almost incandescent white that hurts.

Score one for the pinch drive. From your post, Dave, I wonder if it keeps score. Love the name, love the logo, love the strip. Can we have it more often?
So is the website going to be "www.drivescifi.com"?

Ah, I see you have already grabbed the appropriate domain name, too - excellent choice, well done :)
What? You thought that was hard to figure out? :)
Would you like a translation with that? (Score: 1)

Hey Dave!
Since I'm a lazy bastard and there aren't too many Drive strips yet... would you like me to make a German translation?
Title can either remain or be translated as "Antrieb", which both means the drive of a ship (as in Pinch or warp drive) and the inner workings that make a person do stuff.
Sounds good?
Webspace would have to be provided by you, unfortunately... maybe a sub-pae here?

And you already made a logo! Really cool!

If the name would be changed, here's how the logo could look like:

Saying "Let's name the strip", was a little misleading ... Dave named it - by himself. Also, I agree with previous posters that if the strip has a blue theme then the logo should be BLUE. Just my 2 cents ... hope I did not ruffle anybody's feathers ...
