Birthdaaaaay!

Hey, so today's my birthday! I totally forgot to mention that!

Please join me in thanking my folks, as they did all the work for the first few decades.

And if you'd like to do something nice for your friendly neighborhood cartoonist on their birthday, I'll humbly suggest one thing: Maybe consider telling two people in your life about Sheldon. I know it sounds cheesy, but you'd be amazed how many folks come to the strip by word of mouth. It would be the nicest thing you could do for me on my birthday!

Happy Birthday Dave! I got the new book for Christmas and had to explain to the family what it was, now they'll be reading Sheldon along with me!

Happy Birthday, Dave!! I regularly send links in e-mail and facebook postings, as well as tell co-workers about Sheldon. BTW Dave, you share you're birthday with my grandmother who turned 91 yesterday!! Jim

Happy Day After Birthday!

Technically, my friendly neighborhood cartoonist is Dave Coverly of Speed Bump (really! he lives about 3 blocks away) but I've been promoting Sheldon for a while now. My 12yo son even likes to give the books as birthday presents. :^)

How did I not know that we shared a birthday until now? I share a boyhood hometown with Walt Disney and a birthday with the nicest man in webcomics.
Naturally, I should be more famous than I already am. Maybe I should re-read How To Make Webcomics to see what I'm missing.
