Two Things for Monday Night!

First things first:

1.) On Monday night, my wife will be making her national TV acting debut on CBS' "How I Met Your Mother". She says it's a 'blink-and-you-miss-it' moment...but I've seen her act in New York, LA, and London, and I can tell you right now she lights up anything she's involved in. She's playing Rachel: Ted's girlfriend's best friend! Look for her at 8PM on your local CBS channel.

2.) Also on Monday night: I'll be signing at The Comic Stop in Seattle (Lynnwood) with my Scott Kurtz and Kris Straub, from 6:30-7:30PM.

I'll have all eight Sheldon books for sale, and will be giving out free sketches to any and all Sheldonistas who can make it out.

----------- Here are the details:

When: Monday, May 17th, 6:30-7:30PM
Where: The Comic Stop
3333 184th St SW, Suite G
Lynnwood, WA 98037
What: Sheldon/Drive, PvP, Starslip/Chainsawsuit Signing
Who: Dave Kellett, Scott Kurtz, Kris Straub

See you there!

Congrats, Dave!

I'll be sure to check that episode, if not tonight, then the weekend.:]

Just so you know; it is actually an international rather than national debut... How I met Your Mother is a vey popular programme in Australia and I think we aren't very far behind in terms of episode release date and screening here.
I actually remember seeing Barney (Neil Patrick-Harris) with a copy of one of your books and turning to my friends and saying..."Hey cool, Barney reads sheldon to, see I told you Sheldon is a cool webcomic"

Caught the show last night and barely contained a "squee!" when your wife appeared on screen. Thanks for sharing so much of your life with us, Dave... it was like seeing a friend "do good" and get on international television.

She was perfect, by the way... an ancillary character, but with all the energy and charm and authenticity of every character in the show. She fit seamlessly. Please share our congratulations with her.

It was a bit more than blink-and-you-miss-it moment and a well-done one. So, when will our friendly, neighborhood cartoonist be on the show? ;)
