Sooo... that means two things: Sheldon turns twenty this year and the comics turn ten.

Plus we haven't heard from Sheldonsoft in a while.

Is Shel still rich or what?

Not necessarily... Comic Strip Time moves at whatever rate the writer and/or artist allows it to, and while real-time is real, it would be a problem.

You have to allow the Artist to mine the jokes out of an era before moving it forward - and the premise might have to morph (or be scrapped and replaced) if all the jokes rotate around having the characters locked at a certain time and status.

I think the premise of the world's youngest software CEO would survive his growing up a bit, but that's just me.

Were it my strip the timeclock would be creeping ahead to 13 or so, and Sheldon's voice would be cracking. And in between the occasional board meetings at SheldonSoft where he's still the youngest executive in the room by a mile, and Nerdgasms over Online Gaming, we'd get to live through the joys of overnight growth spurts (Gramp: "I just bought you those clothes last month!!") and Rampant Acne all over again.

And in another few years he can discover girls aren't all icky - and there are some nerdettes mixed in there, too...

But it's not my strip, so it can only be a humble suggestion from Ye Olde Peanut Gallery.
