It's a contraction of "some more," as in "can I have some more of that goopy treat?"

S'MORES (serves 1)

INGREDIENTS:

One marshmallow

One square of Hershey's chocolate bar

Two squares of a graham cracker

Stick (optional)

Fire (optional)

DIRECTIONS, IF CAMPING:

Spear marshmallow with stick. Toast carefully over open flame to desired doneness.

Place chocolate onto one graham cracker. Scrape marshmallow off stick onto chocolate. Top with second graham cracker to serve.

DIRECTIONS, IF AT HOME IN A KITCHEN LIKE A CIVILZED PERSON:

Place chocolate onto one graham cracker on a microwave-safe plate. Place marshmallow on top of chocolate. Top with second graham cracker.

Microwave on low until chocolate begins to melt. Serve.

A s'more looks kinda like this except the marshmallow should be toasted a little more golden brown for my taste.

It's also missing the little bits of ash from when you dropped it in the fire trying to take it off the stick...
