...I thought one reason for personal trainers was to ensure you did a variety of exercises so you worked on all parts of your body...

With that in mind look at the legs on the personal trainer compared with his arms... me thinks he needs to spend less time lifting weights and more time on the exercise bike, or the treadmill. :-p
