New Site!

Site looks great Dave! While giving it a facelift, you were able to keep that same aesthetic/feeling that goes very well with your artwork. So kudos!

One thing I've noticed though, after clicking the "Reply Comment" button it seems the text from the original post that I am replying to is not wrapping to stay contained within the border of the notebook page. I'm on a Mac in Safari 5.1.7.

If it helps I'll shoot an email containing a screenshot with some details. I'll also take a look in chrome and Firefox too.

Wow congrats! The new site looks great. If you have access to an iPad you might want to look at this page though - the formatting looks a bit off. I can send a screenshot if that's helpful...

Same here using Windows and Chrome. Also, at the end of people'e comments the "reply profile www" are all squished together. and the "reply" link, doesn't look like one.

That being said, this new update is great, a great improvement.

p.s. I was wondering about Sheldon, and his company. That was some of my favorite stuff.

The new design looks great. It suits the style of Sheldon and his world much better than the old one did.

It looks great!!! Thanks for the new option for prints. I have 2 originals already and their are plenty of originals I missed out on that I would buy prints of.

I am seeing the same problems everyone is talking about above. I am using Google Chrome on a Dell.

Nice, clean new look. Though I also liked the old site, it had a few spots where it was fraying around the edges.

One bug, besides the notebook paper one others have mentioned: archive search does not work from the home page. If you go to the search page and enter your search terms, it does work there.

I nearly panicked when it took me all of five seconds to find the archive search. :P I use it constantly.

Where's the link to search the archive? We've turned on a lot of our friends to Sheldon by mentioning a strip and then bringing it up and showing it to them. Without a way to search the archive we won't be able to show our friends the strip we thought they'd like or that we were referencing.

Also there's no link to the forum or the blog? I had the devil's time finding the way to mention I couldn't find the archive. Will the archive, the forum and the blog be phased out?

Sad and Easily Confused...

The site looks great, Dave! Oftentimes, the internet hates any site revamp because it is different and, therefore, scary. This looks great though. The only thing missing is a link to Drive Speaking of Drive...? :)

I really did like the wood desk look of the old site. However this new site IS pretty snazzy. I especially like the Tweet Guy.

Dave and film-maker Fred Schroeder have been working on a documentary. Some of the work going into it was funded through Kickstarter. From what I remember, it was the "fancy" bits and post production work. More info can be found here:

I am always very impressed with the look and feel of the comic and the site. The redesign looks awesome. It's inspiring as I attempt to organize a site of my own. Thanks for such a great comic and an awesome site. You really demonstrate how one to make a successful web comics.
