1) not the plastic water bottle thingy, but one with a stainless-steel or glass inside, meant for hot drinks. Often distributed via Starbucks or other coffee shop as part of a generic gift package when you need to shop for someone you really don't know.

2) Quite a few folks in my old office used Mason jars and jelly jars. Yes, to drink out of. Yes, to drink HOT drinks out of. I could never quite grasp this, but we're talking six people out of thirty, so it was a statistically significant population.
