This isn’t the first time Sheldon’s followed the mammoth-resurrection spectacle that the Russians and the Japanese are cookin’ up. He’s been intrigued before.

To add to the patented good-time-party-gigglefest-atmosphere that we like to cultivate around here, we’re gonna start featuring “best of” strips every day. First up from the archives: Purchasing a sovereign nation on a whim.

The best thing about root beer?

…That it’s made from sassafras root. Because there is no sentence in the English language that isn’t improved by having the word “sassafras” in it. <–IMPROVED

In today’s “well-isn’t-that-nice-of-them” news: This Random House site has a nice write-up of DRIVE on their blog. It’s pretty random (ha!) that Random House would have anything on DRIVE at all…so I’m kinda touched.

In general, it’s been so nice it is to hear that DRIVE is working out for so many folks. It’s super encouraging.

It’s been yeeeears since I drew that guy, and it’d be fun to see the last time I used ‘im. He’s got a fun shape.

For anyone who missed the news, our Saturday sci-fi feature, DRIVE, now has it’s own site: HERE.

It includes all the archives, the encyclopedia entries, fan-made extras, and more. Best of all: Your Sheldon forum sign-ins work over there.

And now that that site’s done, I’ll be starting work on a long-overdue Sheldon site re-design. With a caveat: I have one other BIG creative project (the secret one) that’s sucking up all my time. So no guarantees on when the new Sheldon site will be launching. End-of-year, I’d imagine.
