Dog Kisses - Sheldon® Comic Strip

PANEL 1: DANTE, a ten year old boy wearing a baseball cap low over his eyes, stands with his hands in his pockets, looking over his shoulder. SHELDON, a ten year old boy with large glasses, holds his fawn pug, OSO, under his forearms. OSO’s tongue is out in mid-lick.
SHELDON: I think it’s incredibly sweet that dogs lick us.

PANEL 2: Close up on SHELDON holding OSO, who is still licking him.
SHELDON: Here are two species who don’t share a language, trying in any way they can to COMMUNICATE.

PANEL 3: DANTE turns to look at them, still in mid-lick.
SHELDON: So each lick becomes this SOULFUL GESTURE. Beyond language, beyond words…it’s two hearts bonding in a gorgeous sentiment that says: “I truly love you.”

PANEL 4: Super close up on SHELDON, eyes squinting in love, and OSO, eyes dilated with tongue out.
