Biannual - Sheldon® Comic Strip

PANEL 1: SHELDON, a ten year old boy with large glasses, trots along a sidewalk wearing a backpack. Next to him is ARTHUR, a yellow duck, who runs next to him, looking angry. Behind them is green grass, a brown fence, and green bushes all set aside a sunny sky.
ARTHUR: “Biannual” makes no dang sense.

PANEL 2: Closer up on ARTHUR as he walks along the sidewalk.
ARTHUR: “Biweekly” means every two weeks. OR twice a week. “Bimonthly” means every two months. OR twice a month. So those two words are already day-drinking.

PANEL 3: Closer in on ARTHUR, as he continues to run against a blue background.
ARTHUR: But out of nowhere, “BIANNUAL” stands its ground and says “Nope! I ONLY mean twice a year”?

PANEL 4: SHELDON has stopped running and turns to reply to ARTHUR, who, eyes wide, yells in frustration.
SHELDON: It’s because there’s also the word biEnnial, which means—
ARTHUR: I AM GOING TO SCREAM BIWEEKLY. GUESS WHO OFTEN.
