Public Domain - Sheldon® Comic Strip

PANEL 1: SHELDON, a ten year old boy with large glasses, walks along with ARTHUR, a yellow duck, walking next to him. Behind them are green bushes, a brown fence, and a blue sky.
SHELDON: Batman enters public domain in 2035! And since Steamboat Willie is already in public domain, it means I can finally write the mashup I’ve always wanted!

PANEL 2: In greyscale, we see BATMAN (in black cowl, batsign on his chest, utility belt around his waist. He clasps his hands in front of him) standing next to STEAMBOAT WILLIE (the proto-Mickey Mouse, wearing a tall cap).
BATMAN: MY PARENTS ARE DEADDD!

PANEL 3: BATMAN holds his head in his hand. STEAMBOAT WILLIE looks at him awkwardly. No text.

PANEL 4: BATMAN continues to cry in his hands. STEAMBOAT WILLIE, still looking sad, grabs the rope above his head, creating a “TOOOOOT” sound.
