The Hodgepodge Dog Lodge 3 - Sheldon® Comic Strip

COMIC TITLE: “The Hodgepodge Dog Lodge”
Logline: With no humans around, these dogs have to learn a new trick: RUNNING A KENNEL.

PANEL 1: A small, white, fluffy pomeranian jumps mid-air, next to a large rich-brown extra-fluffy chow-chow dog.
POMERANIAN: You did it, Gumdrop! You fooled the human!
CHOW CHOW: He never suspected that our person is gone!

PANEL 2: OSO, the fawn pug, looks surprised while the white-and-black spotted bulldog speaks. Over his head, the tall fawn great dane pokes in.
OSO: Your person is GONE?
BULLDOG: Yep. This morning he was sitting on the big porcelain water bowl
GREAT DANE: —The one I’m not allowed to drink from —
BULLDOG: Then suddenly ran off.

PANEL 3: The chow-chow pokes in, in front of the great dane. A scruffy black dog stares, unspeaking, while the pomeranian, again mid-air, pipes up.
CHOW CHOW: We think it was the glowing rectangle that lives in his hand.
POMERANIAN: Cause he looked at it, yelled “IT’S HAPPENING!” then ran off.

PANEL 4: A grey french bulldog looks wary, next to a concerned large English bulldog.
FRENCHIE: So we’ve been living off the big bag of food that magically refills in the closet.
ENGLISH BULLDOG: But oddly… IT HASN’T BEEN REFILLING.
