COMIC TITLE: “The Hodgepodge Dog Lodge”
Logline: With no humans around, these dogs have to learn a new trick: RUNNING A KENNEL.

PANEL 1: DIGBY, the brown long-haired dashchund, runs towards OSO, the fawn pug.
DIGBY: Oso! You’re here!
OSO: Digby! …is this YOUR house?

PANEL 2: In the background, the pomeranian rides on the head of the white-and-black spotted bulldog, legs out like he’s performing. In the foreground is DIGBY’s face, excited.
DIGBY: No silly. Thissa dog hotel, not my house.

PANEL 3: DIGBY stands thinking, while OSO responds next to him.
DIGBY: I know it’s not my house, because there’s no loud snake that eats my floor fur while screaming.
OSO: My house has that snake!

PANEL 4: DIGBY looks over his shoulder at OSO.
DIGBY: Or the cold treasure box of num-nums that are never shared.
OSO: “The box of betrayal,” yes!

PANEL 5: DIGBY, more intense, faces OSO, very intense.
DIGBY: Or the magic metal cabinet that licks plates clean.
OSO: EVEN THO’ I HAVE OFFERED TO LICK ALL THE PLATES CLEAN
