PANEL 2: DIGBY has not moved, still asleep, his tail keeps wagging. Sound Effect: THUNK.

PANEL 3: DIGBY, still sleeping, wags his tail more. Sound Effect: THUNK. THUNK. THUNK. THUNK.

PANEL 4: ARTHUR the yellow duck has burst in to frame, with a straw hat and a piece of wheat sticking out of his mouth. He taps his foot as he exuberantly sings:
ARTHUR: [music notes] IF IT HADN’T BEEN FOR COTTON-EYED JOE, I’D BEEN MARRIED LONG TIME AGO [music notes]
