Morning Time Treat - Sheldon® Comic Strip

PANEL 1: GRAMP, an older bald man with a grey mustache, wearing a blue bathrobe, stretches with a yawn. The window is open with bright light spilling in.
TEXT:
Oh the sun’s peeking in!
And the birds give a tweet!
And the coffee is brewed
for your morning-time treat!

PANEL 2: GRAMP peers in to his sink full of coffee mugs.
TEXT:
But what’ this? There’s no mugs!
DIrty cups fill the sink!
So you hunt for a glass.
That can hold this one drink.

PANEL 3: From inside a cabinet with a stack of bowls on the side, GRAMP reaches inside, tongue out in concentration.
TEXT:
And you find one up top
that is fancy and wide
with a stem at the bottom
and flair on the side!

PANEL 4:
GRAMP, looking shell-shocked, holds a pink margarita glass with coffee in it. The glass reads “I ate the worm”
TEXT:
And I guess it can work?
Though a WEIRD WAY TO GO.
‘Cause it’s business up top
and VACATION below.
