◦ Gramp (wearing a green sweater and red Santa hat): "At the mall. I, uh, got a seasonal job."
2 Panel 2:
◦ Arthur: "A job? I thought you were retired."
◦ Gramp: "My retirement accounts are a little thin at the moment, so I thought I'd earn some extra scratch."
3 Panel 3:
◦ Arthur: "Boy, that's gotta be a little sad, having to go back to work."
◦ Gramp, having hung up his Santa hat on a coat rack: "Nah... I like the work."
4 Panel 4:
◦ The coat rack is shown alone, with the Santa hat on top, and a white beard hanging below it, indicating Gramp’s seasonal job is playing Santa. Gramp, off screen: "...I feel like I'm laughing all day long."
