A year ago today, we explored various practical manifestations of canine intelligence.

Do you guys remember the strip about wild buffalos eating marshmallows? Well, Sheldonistas John & Laurie S. did, and forwarded me this awesome pic, today, with the attached note:

“We went to the Olympic Game Farm near Sequim (WA). It is a wild animal park but a lot of the animals have been used by Hollywood in movies. You can feed the animals bread from your car window as you drive through. They recommend when you drive through, you keep moving through the elk and buffalo herds or they surround the car and start nudging it for bread. This one (see photo) reminded us so much of your Yellowstone Sheldon series that we had to send it to you.”

Remember the documentary film that I mentioned? The one I’ve been working on? Just wanted to give you the heads up that there are two new video updates added to the site. So! After he saw Friday’s strip, Sheldonista Hans S. e-mailed me with this older pic. I find this cat’s choice of placement far more terrifying than Lil’ Butter’s.

I just noticed something I need to correct: I will *not* be attending SPX in Bethesda Maryland, this year. I just noticed that I have it listed on the website’s calendar of events (…on the front page, down on the left).

We’re crack-a-lacking on the film, at the moment, and I can’t spare the time away from the studio. Which is a HUGE bummer, as SPX is a great show.

But you should go, anyway! There are a ton of great cartoonists there, this year, and the atmosphere at the show is always wonderful!
