For DRIVE fans who want something special for your walls, a fun piece of original art! An ink illustration of Nosh and a Monk of Yanta, starting at just one penny!
[link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/292174662393]
The cardstock itself measures 13.5 x 9.75 inches, and the image is drawn in lightfast, archival inks on acid-free, vellum Bristol stock. There are no mistakes or corrections in the artwork itself, so it will frame up especially nice.

During the 4th of July week, the Drive Wiki is going to have a little software update — so just a heads up that it might be down for a bit!
Ha ha ha…this is amazing to watch, now: It’s my 1996 interview with NBC, about my college comic strip! In May of that year, I had just self-published a collection of college cartoons (…featuring the *first appearance* Sheldon!) It sold on the Notre Dame campus exclusively, and went on to sell through three printings. This NBC interview was conducted the day following its launch. It’s super fun to see.
Also: I look 10 years old.
Huge thank you to my friend Kevin McShane of Buzzfeed for digitizing the beat-up ol’ VHS tape on which this resided for the last 21 years! He really cleaned up the sound and made it all look purty!
Oh! And if you wanted to snag one of these rare, rare items, I have one of my last ten copies up on eBay for one more day: [LINK: http://www.ebay.com/itm/292150954788]
Drivers!
If you’ve been enjoying reading the story for free these many years, I want to pitch you on something: Supporting the comic with a few dollars on Patreon.
For the price of a single coffee, you can support the story you love, help hire amazing “Tales of the Drive” artists, pay for web hosting, and make all of this possible.
What is Patreon? It’s like Kickstarter, but for long-form, continuing projects, like Drive. Basically, you’re saying “This is art I enjoy, and I’ll support it by giving a few bucks each month.” And in exchange, you get to see all the strips *early*, get access to convention exclusive items, and enjoy a super lively comments section that I chime in at ALL THE TIME.
If you love DRIVE, I hope you’ll consider supporting it on Patreon!
We’re making cool DRIVE pins! All the “gray” you see in the image above will be shiny silver metal. And they’ll be available exclusively at San Diego Comic-Con!
UNLESS YOU’RE A PATREON SUPPORTER, IN WHICH CASE YOU TOTALLY GET ACCESS TO THEM, TOO, BECAUSE PATREON SUPPORTERS MAKE DRIVE POSSIBLE!
Want one of the pins? Join us on Patreon and become a supporter of DRIVE — patreon.com/drive! The pins are coming this summer!
For those of you with long memories, you’ll recall THIS BLOG POST from 2015, where I talked about slowly creating an “Anatomy of Animals” book.
Well! I just wanted to tell you that we’re only 10 animals away from it being done! I plan to Kickstart the hardcover book in early Summer, and have it to all the backers by Christmas. It’s gonna be a fun book: We’re designing it to look like a 1920’s science manual, with all the accompanying paste-ups, typed out descriptions, and more.

There’s like five jokes in this final page. Like, FIVE.
I’m so professionally jealous of Jon Rosenberg’s cartooning skills, and so personally grateful that he joined us for a DRIVE story. I enjoyed the heck out of this…and enjoyed this final page especially so.
If you’ve never checked out Jon’s work before, you owe it to yourself to check it out: His use of scifi to make commentary is brilliant on SCENES FROM A MULTIVERSE . And you can also catch his work occassionally on THE NIB. And if you’re a Twitter person, you can follow him on TWITTER.COM/ROSENBERG. And consider dropping him a line and telling him how much you enjoyed his story!
Also: As is always the case, I’ll move this full story around in the archives on drivecomic.com after it concludes…to make for easier consecutive reading, going forward.
